This BBQ Sauce was inspired when a young Sam Reber was stationed far away from home while serving in the US Navy. One of his favorite food stands had BBQ Pork on a stick that tasted like no other. Upon his return home, he set out to perfect his version of the best BBQ Sauce in the world. After many tries, he settled on what would end up being his Prize-winning S.I.R.Gildersleeve’s Premium BBQ Sauce. After thirty years of supplying friends and family, he decided to up his game by enlisting his daughter Holly to help create a commercial cannery in their Ohio backyard. Over the next eight years, thousands of gallons of sauce were produced in 90-quart batches and sold to longtime and new customers via the local farmer’s market, online, and through local, longtime quality family business establishments. The business has been booming, but after Sam’s passing, Holly found it challenging to keep up with demand. She decided that it would be a wise investment to hire professionals to do the heavy work, leaving her time to promote and grow the family business fully. We’ve freshened up our logo and are ready for the future! We continue the tradition of hard work, a great product, and a reasonable price.
